Ascendum Machinery Partners with ApprenticeshipNC Program

Ascendum Machinery recently announced the signing of the ApprenticeshipNC Program Request for the State of North Carolina. This marks a significant step forward for the company as it seeks to address the shortage of qualified technicians in the industry and attract new talent to its team.

The lack of available qualified technicians in the market is a pressing issue. We need to entice new young people into an opportunity for a career with Ascendum Machinery. We need to train them up and qualify them to do and be the best technicians as well as being a representation of Ascendum Machinery.

To address this challenge, Ascendum Machinery will be launching a Sponsored Apprenticeship Program in North Carolina, which will then be expanded to all five branches of the company in other states where it conducts business. Once the program is established nationally, Ascendum Machinery will be able to offer a comprehensive training and development program that can help it attract and retain the best technicians in the industry.

The ApprenticeshipNC Program is a state-funded initiative that helps companies establish apprenticeship programs that provide on-the-job training and classroom instruction to employees. The program is designed to help employers create a pipeline of skilled workers and to provide workers with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen career paths.

Shelby McClain, the Apprenticeship Coordinator for ApprenticeshipNC, worked closely with Ascendum Machinery to establish the program. Shelby is thrilled to partner with Ascendum Machinery to establish our sponsored apprenticeship program. She agrees this is a fantastic opportunity for young people in North Carolina to gain valuable skills and experience in the heavy equipment industry and to establish a rewarding career path.

The program is currently awaiting full approval from the state, which is expected to come within the next two weeks. Ascendum Machinery is excited about the possibilities this program presents and is committed to providing its apprentices with the support and resources they need to succeed.

Grant Adams, CEO of Ascendum Machinery, praised the efforts of the team in establishing the program. “We are grateful to everyone involved in bringing this program to fruition,” he said. “We believe this program will help us attract and retain the best talent in the industry and will help us continue to provide the best possible service to our customers.”

In conclusion, Ascendum Machinery’s sponsorship of the ApprenticeshipNC Program in North Carolina is a significant step forward for the company as it seeks to address the shortage of qualified technicians in the industry. The program will provide young people in North Carolina with valuable skills and experience in the heavy equipment industry, and Ascendum Machinery is committed to providing them with the support and resources they need to succeed.
