7.5-Ton Hopper with Ultra-Efficient Material Management
The 8510E features a large 7.5-ton capacity material hopper with two independently controlled hydraulically operated under-auger material cutoff gates and dual 12-inch diameter cast augers. The ultra-efficient material management system maximizes productivity between truckloads, keeping the paving operation running continuously on large commercial projects.
Legend Electric Screed with 10 kW Generator
The 8510E is equipped with the proven Legend Electric screed with a 10 kW generator, electric timer, and automatic RPM control system. Two blade heating elements in the main screed and one blade element in each extension ensure consistent screed temperature for superior mat quality. Paving depths from 0 to 6 inches are controlled by manual flight screws on the screed.
Dual Joystick Steering with High or Low Deck Configuration
The 8510E features dual electronic joystick steering controls on both sides of the machine, with electronically controlled pumps for precise forward/reverse motion. Available in High Deck (seats mounted on tractor) or Low Deck (seats mounted on screed) configuration, the 8510E adapts to operator preference while delivering a paving speed of 0 to 1.5 mph and travel speed of 0 to 3.2 mph.
