Legend HD Electric Screed for Greater Paving Depth
The 8515E is equipped with the Legend HD Electric screed featuring a 10 kW generator and electric screed heat, capable of paving depths up to 8 inches — 2 inches deeper than the standard 8510E. The HD screed with hydraulically operated extensions delivers variable paving widths from 8 to 15 feet for versatile commercial paving applications.
7.5-Ton Hopper with Independent Auger Control
The 8515E features a 7.5-ton capacity material hopper with two independently controlled hydraulically operated under-auger material cutoff gates and dual 12-inch diameter cast augers. The independent auger control allows operators to manage material flow precisely on each side of the screed for consistent mat quality across the full paving width.
Dual Joystick Steering with LED Work Light Package
The 8515E features dual electronic joystick steering controls providing precise directional control from both operator stations. The standard LED operating light package, back-up alarm, LED beacon light, and vandalism protection covers ensure safe operation in all conditions. The 74 hp Kubota Tier 4 Final engine delivers a travel speed of up to 3.2 mph.
